Over the weekend, Grace Potter welcomed Galactic drummer Stanton Moore to the stage to join her and her band in a cover of the Pointer Sisters’ “Yes We Can Can.”
The night saw Potter play through many of her original Nocturnals tunes and close with a double encore that featured the Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter” and Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released.”
As Moore got settled behind his drum set, Potter introduced her guest, saying, “There’s no way we could get funkier than having the one and only Mr. Stanton Moore joining us tonight.”
