My Morning Jacket’s three night run at the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco was highlighted by a series of bustouts from the group as well as a collaboration on the final night.

To start things off, the band dug into Jim James’ The New Basement Tapes project with the debut of “Quick Like a Flash.” They’ve played a few tunes from that record on the road this year, including a collaboration with Marcus Mumford and Dawes in Europe. Also played on the first night was The Tennesee Fire cut “Picture of You,” making its first appearance of the year and just sixth since 2006.

Night two saw a pair of rarities including “Tonight I Want to Celebrate You” as well as “Smokin’ From Shootin” from Evil Urges. The band also welcomed out Eric Johnson of Fruit Bats for a cover of their own “Wild Honey” before returning with Jacket’s “Wonderful (The Way I Feel).”

The finale featured another appearance from Johnson, who sat in with the band on Velvet Underground’s “Oh! Sweet Nuthin’.”
