Tool recently announced their slate of dates for 2016 as the band supposedly readies a new album in that time. Today, the band added a pair of shows to their schedule including a second appearance at San Diego’s Viejas Arena on January 10 to open the tour along with a tour-closing stint in New Orleans.

Tickets to the New Orleans show will go on sale December 4. All tickets are available here.

In related Tool news, Adam Jones spoke with Rolling Stone about the progress of the record, calling it “wonderful.” He added, “Things are really flowing and going really well, and I’m just blown away at the stuff that’s coming together. I’m excited and can’t wait for it to be done.” Jones also said the band has “20 potential song ideas now.”
