Dr. Dog have confirmed that they will be releasing their next studio album, Psychedelic Swamp on February 5 via ANTI-. The record is a remake of their first album, which was only available on cassette, after 15 years of experience to help them flesh out the tracks.

The first track off of Swamp, “Bring My Baby Back,” which was not on the original cassette, was premiered today via Vulture. Dr. Dog’s Toby Leaman describes the tune as being “filled with things that nobody knew what to do with but just didn’t have the heart to throw away. It’s like climbing out from the bottom of a junk drawer three stories deep, a veritable ascent into maelstrom.”

The band has also added dates to its upcoming winter tour, which kicks off at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, on January 29 and also includes slots at Okeechobee and Forecastle, a two-night run at Austin, TX’s Stubb’s with Shakey Graves and some European dates. See the full tour schedule below.
