Ween continued their promise to play three nights of no repeats at their reunion run in Broomfield, CO. Once again, the band dipped heavily into their repertoire with the band’s second album The Pod taking seven slots of the 30-song setlist. The group also dished out five songs from 2003’s Quebec.

Also of note are a pair of performances later in the show. During a segment where Dean and Gene Ween switched to acoustics for five songs, the band kicked off that run with “Kim Smoltz,” a cut from The Mollusk Sessions that produced the group’s sixth album in 1997. The performance served as a Ween debut.

Later in the set, before the closing run of “Laura,” “Zoloft” and “Dr. Rock,” the band paid homage to the late Lemmy of Motorhead with a take on “Ace of Spades.” The cover was one that showed up occasionally in years past, with the first coming in 2003. Overall, Ween has covered the tune 27 times.

The band returns to the stage tonight to wrap up their three night run.
