Landmark Music Festival, which debuted last year at Washington, D.C.‘s National Mall, has confirmed that it will not be taking place this year, as the festival’s website has been updated to show a message reading “Thanks DC, See You In 2017!”

According to Washington City Paper, the National Mall Trust cites timing issues as the main reason for the hiatus, as they didn’t want to interfere or detract from the upcoming opening of the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture.

“We remain committed to building on the success of the inaugural Landmark Music Festival and staging the cause-related festival next year,” Trust spokesperson MacKenzie Babb tells the Paper. Last year’s festival featured artists like The Strokes, Drake, alt-J and more.
