Original Umphrey’s McGee drummer Mike Mirro passed away on January 30, 2014 and now some previously unreleased original music from the late drummer has been unearthed. Dubbed Superior Virtuosity, the eight-track compilation features Mirro joined by guitarist Marco Villarreal and bassist Josh Hanchar.

“Truth Through Superior Virtuosity,” the album’s Bandcamp page stated. “One of Mikey’s mottos to live by. He truly understood the Tempo of Life. Genius. His music Echoes in Eternity.”
