Next month, founding Velvet Underground member John Cale will perform the band’s classic 1967 debut album Velvet Underground & Nico at the Philharmonie de Paris with an all-star lineup of special guests.

The concert, which is currently sold out and will take place on April 3, will feature Animal Collective (on whose recent album, Painting With, Cale appears), Pete Doherty and Carl Barât of The Libertines, Etienne Daho, Lou Doillon, Nick Franglen of Lemon Jelly and Mark Lanegan.

The Paris venue will also hold a special exhibition on the Velvet Underground along with the performance.
