Ryan Adams and The Avett Brothers will headline the Music is Universal SXSW showcase in Austin, TX, a partnership between Universal Music Group and Marriott Rewards. The show will be held on March 16 at the JW Marriott, which will be converted into a music venue for the festival.

The music portion of South by Southwest kicks off in Austin on March 15. The Adams/Avett Brothers show will be open to SXSW badge holders and Marriott Rewards members.

Both parties are busy on the road this year, with both playing several festivals as Adams is slated to play Forecastle, Sloss and XPonential while The Avetts will play McDowell, Mountain Jam, Forecastle and others overseas.
