The String Cheese Incident rolled into their March Madness tour with a stop at the Summit Pavilion in Reno, NV. Among the highlights were a pair of covers as well as a debut for the group along the way.

To start, the group debuted a cover of Jim Croce’s “Age” early on in the first set. The tune, recorded by Croce and his wife Ingrid, appeared on his self-titled 1969 record.

In the second set, Cheese dug into their rendition of the Allman Brothers’ “Hot ‘Lanta,” which they debuted at the end of their New Year’s Run in Broomfield, CO back in January. And to kick off the encore, the band broke out the first “Master Blaster” since January 29, 2015. The Stevie Wonder cover preceded the “Sittin’ On Top of the World” show closer.

SCI’s tour continues tonight in Oakland, CA.
