A former personal security guard for Elton John is suing the British singer for sexual harassment and battery, according to Reuters.

Court documents state that “unwelcome touching” occurred on many occasions since Jeffrey Wenninger, John’s security guard, began working for the singer in 2002. The incidents reportedly escalated in frequency and intensity after 2010.

Wenninger, who worked as a guard for John until 2014, alleges that the 69-year old singer made offensive, sexually suggestive comments and continued after Wenninger tried to verbally and physically resist. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for physical, mental and emotional distress.

John’s attorney Orin Snyder said the lawsuit was “brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment.” He added that the claims are “patently untrue.”
