Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks and his Freight Train Band, which includes Berry Oakley Jr., Bruce Katz, Vaylor Trucks, Damon Fowler, Heather Gillis and Tad Isch, has announce tour Southeastern tour dates for this month, along with a headlining slot at the New York State Blues Festival this summer.
Trucks and company will be joined at the festival, which takes place in Syracuse, NY, on July 8–9, by Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, Sonny Landreth, Brandon Santini and more. Admission to the festival is free. More information is available here.
The group’s Southeast run kicks off in Greenville, SC, on April 21 and will include a stop at the Allmans’ old hometown of Macon, GA, on April 23. See the full tour dates below.
