Dave Matthews Band continued their summer tour last night at the home of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chesapeake Energy Arena. Among the highlights from the 21-song, career-spanning set included the first “Break Free” since September 17, 2011, or 318 shows.

“Break Free” is one of the few products from a studio session with Stand Up producer Mark Batson shortly after the band’s 2005 record was released. Originally intended to be included in a follow-up to the record, “Break Free” joined tunes like “Kill the King” and “Shotgun” as those to debut during the 2006 tour, although never made it to record. The tune returned in 2011 for three performances after being dormant since 2006.

Other highlights from the band’s show last night included the tour debuts of “Funny the Way It Is” as well as “The Best of What’s Around” as well as a proper tour debut of “Ants Marching” although the tune was played at the band’s Charlottesville show earlier this month.

DMB’s tour continues tonight in Little Rock, AR.
