The String Cheese Incident wrapped up their run at the newly opened Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY last night with a show that saw them revisit their Allman Brothers Family Incident set at Peach Festival as they welcomed out Gregg Allman’s music director Scott Sharrard on guitar.

Sharrard joined the band for “Hot ‘Lanta,” “On the Road” and “Southbound” about halfway through the second set. Sharrard, who lives in New York and hosts a weekly residency just a few blocks away from Kings Theatre, helped String Cheese as well as ABB family members Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Marc Quinones and many others on tunes like “Statesboro Blues,” “Midnight Rider,” “Melissa” and others at Peach Fest.

Additional highlights from Cheese’s summer tour closer included a nod to Kenny Baker, the actor behind the famed Star Wars character R2D2, who passed away at the age of 81 earlier this week.
