Brooklyn Comes Alive, which celebrates its second annual one-day festival of all-star collaborations, has revealed its latest lineup addition, as super trio DRKWAV will play the event when it comes to Brooklyn on October 22.

DRKWAV consists of keyboardist John Medeski, Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch and saxophonist Skerik. The trio released their debut album, The Purge, last year, but have played together for a few years before that. Read our interview with Skerik about the project here.

DRKWAV join other announced BCA performances like a Joe Russo, Scott Metzger, Robert Walter and Andy Hess collaboration, The All Brothers Band featuring Neal and Alan Evans and Oteil and Kofi Burbridge, Reed Mathis’ Electric Beethoven, the Break Science/Disco Biscuits mashup Breaking Biscuits and more. Tickets are available here.
