Dave Matthews Band continued their final run at the Gorge before embarking on a year-long hiatus and did so with an extended appearance from Carlos Malta, who joined Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross on a few tunes throughout the night much like he did on opening night.

Among them, just the second “Bartender” of the year before the band broke out Crash rarity “Cry Freedom” with Malta for the first time this year. Malta would then reappear towards the end of the set for an extended “Jimi Thing” that forayed into Prince’s “Sexy MF” as the band has done all year long.

While the encore would not feature Malta, the band did offer up two of their finest live cuts after an opening “Sister” as the band paired “Two Step” and “Halloween” much like they’ve done several times this year.

DMB return to the Gorge tonight for their final show of the year.
