Conor Oberst’s solo set at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in California and turned it into a Monsters of Folk reunion as the Bright Eyes singer invited Jim James and M. Ward for a pair of tunes late in his set.

Among them, “Say Please” and “Whole Lotta Losin’” from the band’s 2009 debut, self-titled effort. This is the second reunion among the Monsters of Folk bandmates as James, Oberst and M. Ward got together during Ward’s show at Hollywood Bowl in July.
