Minutemen bassist Mike Watt will release a new live album chronicling his 1995 Ball-Hog or Tugboat? tour where he was supported by a young Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Nirvana/Germs/Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear and Foo Fighters/Sunny Day Real Estate drummer William Goldsmith.

Ring Spiel Tour ’95 was recorded during the band’s stop at Chicago in The Metro and will be released on November 11.

Watt’s first solo album featured appearances from numerous musicians like Henry Rollins, Vedder, J Mascis, members of Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. Watt then hit the road with Grohl, Vedder, Smear and Goldsmith before they all returned to their other groups (Grohl went on to start Foo Fighters), leading Watt to form The Crew of the Flying Saucer with Wilco guitarist Nels Cline.
