After releasing their new album, Big Boat, last Friday, Phish took to television in support of the effort, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play a couple of album cuts, “Breath and Burning” on the televised show and “Blaze On” for an online exclusive.

The group borrowed a horn section from Fallon’s house band The Roots for “Breath and Burning,” as Ian Hendrickson-Smith and David Guy added saxophone and trumpet, respectively, to the tune. Both musicians also play with Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, and Guy was part of the horn section that joined Phish for their Halloween shows in 2009 and 2010.
