The Shins’ first sign of new music arrived today in the form of a Halloween-themed “Dead Alive,” available to stream below.

Yesterday on their social media accounts, The Shins teased some sort of Halloween announcement, leading many to believe that the album would finally be confirmed. The note on the announcement for the new song today did mention that it was something “while you wait for the album.”
