Joe Russo’s Almost Dead wrapped up a run of West Coast dates last night at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA, and welcomed out Bay Area legend Bob Weir for a few songs during an acoustic set in the middle of the show.

After the band started off the acoustic portion with “It Must Have Been the Roses,” Weir joined them onstage for a cover of Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall,” a video of which can be viewed above. Weir then stuck around for “Black Throated Wind” and “When I Paint My Masterpiece” before closing out the mini-set with a “Cassidy” that included a jam on “Let It Grow.”

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead return to the stage later this month with a November 26 show at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. More information on their tour dates is available here.
