Tom Hamilton’s American Babies closed out their Sweetwater Music Hall run with a guest-filled finale that included Dave Schools, Holly Bowling and Jason Crosby

Bowling joined the band for most of the first set, sitting in on tunes like “This Thing Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere,” “Simple Gift of Man” and a fitting closer of “An Epic Battle Between Light and Dark.”

The second set started with a “China Cat Sunflower” that saw Bowling and Schools out with the band, which led into a lengthy “Shakedown Street.” Terrapin Crossroads regular Jason Crosby then emerged for “The Harder They Come” as Crosby contributed keys to the tune.

American Babies’ “Joeline” followed without Crosby before Schools and Bowling helped the band close the set with Dylan’s “Tangled Up in Blue” and the Dead’s “Deal.” A cover of the Beatles’ “Rain” with the help of Crosby on violin closed the show.
