Wilco’s Nels Cline will present his most recent solo effort Lovers in his home state of California with a stop at Royce Hall in Los Angeles on April 8 and SFJAZZ in San Francisco on April 9.

“I feel so lucky to be able to come to my home state of California and play this music from Lovers with many of my most cherished West Coast comrades as well as with treasured East Coast representatives,” Cline said in a statement.

Joining Cline will be many of the musicians who helped him craft Lovers, including Steven Bernstein, his twin brother Alex, longtime collaborator Julian Lage, Yuka C Honda, Maggie Parkins, Gavin Templeton and many others.
