Hudson, a group consisting of drummer Jack DeJohnette, guitarist John Scofield, keyboardist John Medeski and bassist Larry Grenadier, have set their plans for a summer tour and new album.

As DownBeat reports, Hudson, who are named after the Hudson Valley in the band members’ home state of New York, plan to release their new album this summer, when they will be also touring North America, partly in celebration of the legendary DeJohnette’s 75th birthday, which comes on August 9.

The tour dates kick off on June 8 at San Francisco’s Miner Auditorium and also include June dates in Los Angeles, Saratoga Springs, NY, Toronto and Montreal. The band returns in October with a few East Coast shows before moving to the Midwest and California throughout the month. See the full tour schedule and ticketing information here.
