Umphrey’s McGee continued a West Coast swing last night with their return to the Fox Theatre in Oakland, highlighted by the first cover of Metallica’s “…And Justice For All” since August 1, 2014 and just the third play since 2008.

Other highlights included early takes on heavy-hitters like “Bridgeless” and “Wappy Sprayberry” as well as just the fourth version of Steely Dan’s “Kid Charlemagne” in the band’s history. The cover dates back to 2011 and recently made a comeback at their hometown New Year’s show in Chicago.

Umphrey’s will continue their tour tonight with their very first performance at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads.
