Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach has announced he will release his second solo album, Waiting On A Song, on June 2 via his new label, Easy Eye Sound. The record follow’s Auerbach’s 2009 solo debut, Keep It Hid.

The new album, which is described as “a love letter to Nashville,” features collaborations with John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin and the Memphis Boys’ Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman. The video for the first single from the effort, “Shine On Me,” which features guitar from Mark Knopfler, can be viewed below.

“Living in Nashville has definitely changed the way I think about music and the way that I record it,” Auerbach says. “I didn’t have all of these resources before. I am working with some of the greatest musicians that ever lived.”

Waiting On A Song is available for pre-order now.
