Former Widespread Panic drummer Todd Nance has a new project, Interstellar Boys, and the band will head out on the road this summer for a run of dates focused on the Southeast.

Playing with Nance are Jerry Joseph, Bloodkin’s Daniel Hutchens, Sam Holt, John Neff and Jon Mills. Nance played with a few of his Interstellar Boys bandmates last December when he made his first post-Panic onstage appearance at the annual Bloodkin & Friends event in Athens, GA. Watch a video from that night below, featuring Nance, Joseph, Holt, Neff and Eric Martinez.

Nance officially split with Widespread Panic early last year after periods of time off the road. Duane Trucks, who filled in for Nance during his absences, has subsequently taken over as Panic’s permanent drummer.
