The Magpie Salute, Rich Robinson’s recently debuted band featuring members of his Black Crowes, have announced the release of their first album, a self-titled effort that will be available June 9 via Eagle Rock.

The band features reunited Crowes members Robinson, Marc Ford and Sven Pipien, along with drummer Joe Magistro, guitarist Nico Bereciartua and vocalists John Hogg, Charity White, Adrien Reju and Katrine Ottosen.

The Magpie Salute will include new versions of Crowes’ tunes “What Is Home” and “Wiser Time,” along with several covers including Pink Floyd’s “Fearless,” Bob Marley’s “Time Will Tell,” Faces’ “Glad and Sorry” and more. A 10” vinyl of the band’s cover of Delaney and Bonnie’s “Comin’ Home” and “Glad and Sorry” will be released for this year’s Record Store Day on April 22.

The album also features the last recordings from the late keyboardist Eddie Harsch, who passed away in November of last year.
