Margo Price and Brent Cobb joined fellow outlaw country musician Jamey Johnson for a take on the Grateful Dead classic “Casey Jones” during his headlining set at San Francisco’s Warfield on Thursday night. As our friends at Jambase report,The three musicians have been on the road together this spring as part of the Stagecoach Spotlight Tour, a traveling revue tied to country festival of the same name. Thursday’s show marked the final stop on the Stagecoach Spotlight Tour, which has featured numerous covers and collaborations during the past few weeks. (Johnson famously performs without a setlist.)

In addition “Casey Jones” and the tour’s staple gospel medley of “I Saw the Light, “I’ll Fly Away,” “This Little Light of Mine,” “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?,” “Uncloudy Day” and I Saw the Light,” Price and Cobb also joined Johnson for another venue-appropriate cover—The Band’s “It Makes No Difference.” Johnson’s tour will resume in Wetumpka, AL on May 19.
