Trey Anastasio and his band continued their last May tour last night with a stop at DelFest. On hand to extend a greeting to the group was the festival’s namesake. Del McCoury emerged during the first set along with sons Ronnie and Rob sat in on “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome,” originally penned by Bill Monroe and Hank Williams, as well the McCoury original “Beauty of My Dreams.” The members of Del McCoury Band played both selections with Phish during their first onstage collaboration at the Camp Oswego festival in 1999.

DelFest continues today while TAB is off to Summer Camp for a Sunday performance.
