Pink Talking Fish paid tribute to Gregg Allman during their late-night show at Las Vegas’ Brooklyn Bowl earlier this morning. During their encore, the group—which traditionally weaves together Phish, Talking Heads and Pink Floyd covers—offered a take on Warren Haynes’ signature original, “Soulshine.” The song appears the Allman Brothers Band’s 1994 record Where It All Begins and Allman also included the cut in his solo shows. The early morning performance was a Dead & Company after show. Pink Talking Fish will appear at Greenfield, MA’s Strangecreek Campout later today. As previously reported, Dead & Co. also honored Allman last night.
