In an appearance on Beats 1 Radio, Dave Grohl commented on the short-lived supergroup Them Crooked Vultures featuring him, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones.

“We do talk about it,” Grohl said (via Consequence of Sound) when asked about reuniting with Homme and Jones. “Every once in a while, you’ll be up at night drinking a bottle of wine by yourself, and you’ll watch some Crooked Vultures thing on YouTube and go, ‘We were so good!,’ and then we’ll text each other saying, ‘Miss you man!’”

Them Crooked Vultures formed in 2009 and released a self-titled debut record in November of that year. While Grohl noted in 2010 that the group was working on a second album, nothing developed. Grohl has previously said that he hopes for the band to reunite one day.
