Brooklyn Comes Alive returns next month with a two-night, multi-venue event that will feature dozens of special and one-off collaborations and supergroups, plus new band debuts, tributes and more, and the final musician matchups were released today.

New announcements in the 30+ sets that will take place over the two days include the addition of Bernard Purdie an Kofi Burbridge to the Allman Brothers Band tribute, which will headline night one; a trio featuring George Porter Jr., Skerik and Mike Dillon; Dave Harrington’s Merry Pranksters; Roosevelt Collier’s Brooklyn Get Down; a tribute to women of the ’90s featuring Hayley Jane and members of Kung Fu and Pink Talking Fish; Midnight North performing the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; a John Scofield and Jon Cleary duo performance; a superjam featuring Marc Brownstein, Joel Cummins, Mike Greenfield, Ryan Jalbert and Aron Magner; the Metropolitan Jam Grass Alliance with members of Yonder Mountain, Railroad Earth, Infamous Stringdusters and more; a tribute to Herbie Hancock led by The Motet’s Joey Porter; a power trio of Dopapod’s Rob Compa and Chuck Jones and Kung Fu’s Adrian Tramontano; and an exploratory jazz set with Skerik, Reed Mathis, Alan Evans, Will Bernard and Wil Blades.
