In conjunction with the new Ken Burns PBS documentary series The Vietnam War, Spotify has put together a new playlist of music from the time period and more, including a poignant cover of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s classic protest song “Ohio” performed by the trio of Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. and Jon Batiste (via JamBase).

The song adopts CSNY harmonies between the three musicians, with gentle piano paired with acoustic and slide guitar backing the somber take on the tune. Listen below.

The Spotify playlist, which can be heard here, also features a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues” by The Lumineers featuring Andrew Bird (also available below), plus classics like Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth,” Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising,” Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” and Steppenwolf’s “Magic Carpet Ride.”
