Mike Gordon and his band stopped by The Sound Garden music store in Syracuse, NY, yesterday for an intimate pop-up show performed for around 100 fans while the bassist was in town for tonight’s Westcott Theater gig.

As Syracuse.com reports, Gordon and company played three songs from their new album OGOGO, “Victim,” “Stealing Jamaica” and “Steps,” with Gordon’s bass lighting up at points in the performance.

“We’ve been working on these songs for a year but we still don’t really know what they’re about,” Gordon said during the show. “It could be the light side of darkness. Or the mushy side of solidness.”
