Amanda Shires has announced she will release her new solo album, To the Sunset, on August 3 via Silver Knife/Thirty Tigers, marking the follow-up to the Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s 2016 effort My Piece of Land.

The new album was produced by Dave Cobb, who also helmed Shires last album and worked with her on her husband/bandmate Jason Isbell’s Grammy-winning 2017 album with The 400 Unit, The Nashville Sound.

Below, watch a brief trailer for the To the Sunset. Shires is in the midst of a solo tour and will be playing tonight at Lubbock Lights in Lubbock, TX. See her full schedule “here”: http://amandashiresmusic.com/tour.
