Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Dave Mason and Steve Cropper have announced a joint tour this summer, criss-crossing the US with their blend of rock and soul.
The two guitarists will share the stage for the Rock & Soul Revue, playing the greatest hits from Mason’s time with Traffic, Cropper’s time with Booker T. & The M.G.‘s. and the innumerable hits of the ’60s and ’70s that both musicians had a hand in.
“This should be great fun,” Mason said in an official statement. “We’ve never shared the stage together but when I got to thinking about who I’d like to play with on a jam-like tour, Steve Cropper was one of the first that came to mind It’ll be a great combination of songs for fans to enjoy and, musically, it’s definitely a show not to be missed.”
