Iconic saxophonist Charles Lloyd and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams will come together for a new collaborative album with Lloyd’s The Marvels, Vanished Gardens, set for release on June 29 via Blue Note.

The record was produced by Lloyd, Dorothy Darr and Don Was, and The Marvels feature guitarist Bill Frisell, pedal steel and dobro player Greg Leisz, bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland. Williams is featured on half of the 10 tracks, which include some of her and Lloyd’s compositions, along with songs written by Jimi Hendrix, Thelonious Monk and more.

The group has shared the effort’s first single, “We’ve Come Too Far to Turn Around,” featuring and written by Williams. Listen to the track below and see the full Vanished Gardens tracklist.
