Dave Matthews Band continued their post-2017-hiatus tour in Syracuse, NY, on Tuesday night, playing a show at Lakeview Amphitheater (technically the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview) that featured some DMB favorites, cuts from the band’s upcoming album Come Tomorrow (out this Friday, June 8) and a guest spot from local jazz trombonist Melissa Gardiner.

The evening got off to a bit of a rocky start, as it was opening night for the venue and many fans didn’t make it into the amphitheater for the beginning of the concert—even with the band delaying the first song—because of limited shuttle buses from the parking lot (per Syracuse.com).

Once DMB did get started, they kicked off the show with Come Tomorrow tune “That Girl Is You” before jumping into the first “So Right” since August 2016. “The Idea Of You” then marked the second new-album track (the band also fit in “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” and “Can’t Stop” later in the set).

Along with later-set live favorites (perhaps to appease fans that missed the first portion) like “The Space Between,” “Dancing Nancies,” “Satellite,” “Ants Marching,” “Crash Into Me” and a set-closing run of “Pantala Naga Pampa” into “Rapunzel,” Matthews and company were joined by Gardiner and her trombone for a rousing rendition of DMB classic “Jimi Thing.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section, along with a compiled fan video of most of the show, courtesy of tambourinedmb. Next up for Dave Matthews Band is a stop in Clarkston, MI, tonight.
