Green Apple Music Festival attendees clamoring for more free music are in luck. On Sunday, April 23, a number of Green Apple performers will offer free shows in New York's Union Square. Beginning at 11 AM, Matt Turk, The Brakes, and Benzos perform as part of the city wide DaffodilFest. From there, the festivities will shift, um segue, uptown for the debit screening of Wetlands Preserved at the Ziegfeld Theater. Also, during Green Apple, the Brakes will open for Strangefolk at the Lion's Den on April 21, while the Brakes will perform at the Slipper Room on April 22.
