The line-up for the first annual Dark Star Jam has been announced. The festival will be held August 31 September 2 at Van Hoy Farms Campground in Union Grove, NC. Dark Star Orchestra will headline the event and perform for four hours each night, recreating specific Grateful Dead shows in their entirety. Other artists on the bill include Govt Mule, who will play on Saturday (with Oteil Burbridge on bass) and Sunday (with David Schools on bass), Project Z, Emma Gibbs Band, The Mood Cultivation Project, Zen Tricksters, Blueground Undergrass, Bowleevil and Cast Iron Filter. Grateful Dead Hour host David Gans will emcee the event.
