The String Cheese Incident took the stage for eight sets over three days during its second annual weekend at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, OR. Billed as ‘String Cheese Incident Summer Camp,’ the event also featured a mythic theme, ‘the Meeting of the Lost Worlds.’ The third of the band’s four sets on Saturday night provided the soundtrack to a ‘ballet synergie’ featuring audience participants who had prepared for two months to represent one of four mythic groups: Middle Earth, Atlantis, Pepperland and Mayan Land. Members of the Motet, which had performed earlier in the evening, later joined the String Cheese Incident for portions of its fourth set which closed out the evening on Saturday. SCI opened up the final day of music with an acoustic set.
String Cheese Incident next performs on August 18 and 19 at the Summit in Mariaville, NY.
