Los Lobos is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the release of its 11th album, _Good Morning Aztl, due out June 4th on Mammoth Records. The band co-produced the CD with John Leckie. _Good Morning Aztl is where we’re at in our lives as songwriters and musicians, putting it down exactly how we see it and hear it, just singing and playing our hearts out,’ says Louie Per ‘What really amazes me after this long, we’ve not only becoming stronger as a band, but we’ve been able to maintain a sense of enthusiasm and discovery about ourselves and our music.’
The group plays next April 25 and 26 at John Ascuagas Nugget in Sparks, NV. For more dates, visit www.loslobos.org.
