Jamie Masefield took the stage with Umphreys McGee last night at the Backyard Bash in Chicago, IL. Masefield (mandolin, Jazz Mandolin Project) sat in on In Violation of Yes midway through the set.
Masefield last joined the band on May 2 at the Blue Nile in New Orleans. He played the accordion since there was no mandolin in the house.
Umphreys McGees first studio album, Local Band Does Okay, will be released this summer, although a specific date has not yet been confirmed.
The group plays Wednesday at Little Brothers in Columbus, OH. For details, visit the bands online calendar.
