The 20th Congress rhythm section drummer George Sluppick and bassist Chris Stillwell – will perform with Papa Mali for three upcoming shows this week in California: June 28 at Buffalo Club in Los Angeles, June 29 at Boom Boom Room in San Francisco and July 2 at Sweetwater in Mill Valley. Mali will then be joined by his band, The Instagators, for a national tour in support of the new CD, Thunder Chicken. The itinerary includes stops in Arizona, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, Texas and Colorado.
