Guitarist Michael Houser has not performed with Widespread Panic for the last four shows, during which time guitarist George McConnell (Kudzu Kings) and saxophonist Randall Bramblett have joined the band on stage. Michael Houser is off tour at the present time due to health reasons, the band said in a statement released by its publicist. It is not yet known when he will return to the groups line-up.
Drummer Vinnie Amico (moe.) sat in last night at Meadow Brook Amphitheater in Detroit, MI. Amico joined the band for an extended drum solo in the second set.
Widespread plays tomorrow at Tower City in Cleveland, OH. For details, visit the bands official website.
