Hookah Fans for Food will hold a food drive at Hookahville, which will take place August 30 – September 1 at the Frontier Ranch Music Center in Kirkersville, Ohio. Proceeds from the drive will benefit the Mid Ohio Food Bank. Those who make donations will be eligible to win a variety of prizes including live CDs and tapes as well as artwort. The festival line-up includes ekoostik hookah, Galactic, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, War, Leo Kottke and Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder.
Hookah Fans for Food has collected 1,285 pounds of canned goods since its first gig in December of 2001. For more information, visit www.hookahfansforfood.org/hookahville.html.
