Matt Abts and Johnny Neel will once again perform as X2 (Experimental Duo). Both Musicians have played together in the past in projects such as Blue Floyd and BeattleJam. While in the studio prior to the BeatleJam shows, Abts (drums, Govt Mule) and Neel (keyboards, Allman Brothers Band) spent some time experimenting and X2 was born. The duo will tour briefly in September, while Govt Mule is off (and Warren Haynes tours with the Allman Brothers). The itinerary includes multiple stops in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina.
