Knoxville, Tennessees Gran Trorino has announced that it will be parting ways in mid-January. The nine-piece funk outlet, which has released four albums and played more than 1,000 shows over seven years, kicked off its Farewell Tour this past Friday. The final performance will take place on January 18, 2003 at Blue Cats in Knoxville, TN. The itinerary also includes multiple upcoming dates in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
The band plays this Friday at The Forum in Jackson, MS. The official website is www.grantorino.com.
