Backbeat Books will issue Jam Bands written by Jambands.com/Relix editor Dean Budnick in June of 2003. This book, a follow-up to Budnick’s 1998 work will include band bios, a critical discography and essays on the Jammys, music festivals and the term ‘jam band.’ In addition, introductory essays will appear from Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks and Relix publisher Steve Bernstein.
